Workshop Objectives

 

The Workshop was designed to:

  • Provide a unique opportunity to discuss among policymakers, the donor community and experts in the field, various approaches to address land policy and administration issues in the countries of the English speaking Caribbean;
  • Identify and discuss lessons learned and challenges for the future of Bank projects in land policy, administration and management;
  • Provide a learning experience, information exchange and outreach/training which will involve both applied academic researchers and learning by doing through active panel discussion and small group debate; and
  • Facilitate dialogue among professionals in the public and private sectors, academia, and non-government organizations.

The Workshop was sponsored by the following institutions:
